2025 Anzac weekend! Day 3 (Sunday)
27 April 2025 I was away early, and had plans to pad out the drive with some interesting stops. I encountered a few side streets, and a very charming part of Victoria what looked more suited to England. I stopped by a small country fair and tried to visit a Welsh mining town. It turned out to be a decent detour to get to the parking area, then another descent walk to get to the town. I enjoyed the scenery, a massive slate quarry, and then decided to check this site out properly another time. Also for the "next time" list, hanging rock and a general visit to the Macedon ranges. All in all, there weren't really a lot of spots, but it was a nice drive and a lovely end to a full-on couple of weeks.
